  • Lisa Rainey
    MD. FAAP

    Dr. Rainey has been practicing pediatrics since 1995 and is the founder of West End Pediatrics. She completed her undergraduate courses at the University of Virginia In Charlottesville, Virginia with a BA degree in psychology. She received her medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She completed residency training at Children's National Health System in Washington, DC. Dr. Rainey is board certified in Pediatrics and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She is married and has 2 children. In her spare time she enjoys tennis and biking, and spending time with her family

  • Perdita Taylor-Zapata
    MD, FAAP

    Dr. Taylor-Zapata has been practicing pediatrics since 1997 and joined West End Pediatrics inMay 2009. She completed her undergraduate courses with a BS degree in microbiology and received her medical degree from Howard University of Washington, DC. She completed residency training at Children's National Health System in Washington, DC. Dr. Taylor-Zapata is board certified in Pediatrics and since residency has worked at the National Institute of Health in pediatric HIV research and pediatric pharmacology research. Her special interests are asthma care and HIV prevention and treatment. She is married and has 1 child. In her spare time she enjoys walking, playing the Wii game, and spending time with her family
